Fire Chief and Emergency Medical Dispatcher, Tom Zotti, is asking members of the Wolfeboro community to participate in a brief survey about creating a safer, more disaster-resilient community. Involving stakeholders is essential to building community-wide support for the plan.
Mitigation planning includes public involvement, risk assessment, and developing a mitigation strategy based on public input, identified risks, and available capabilities.
Wolfeboro's Hazard Mitigation Plan is being updated with technical assistance from the Lakes Region Planning Commission through a grant received in 2023 from the State of NH.
